APPRENTICESHIP? Agathe and Célestine, apprentices at BSE, can tell you more!
Agathe, 25 years old, Apprentice at BSE since 09/26/2022 in Human Resources – MBA in Human Resources Management at Pigier School, Dijon.
Doing an apprenticeship at BSE is a real advantage; the entire BSE team is concerned about its apprentices and provides genuine support in our training. Being able to apply what we’ve learned and work in the field gives meaning to the lessons taught at school.
Apprenticeship allows you to confront the reality of the working world and helps me gain autonomy and responsibilities; indeed, people rely on me to carry out the tasks assigned to me. I highly recommend that any student who has the opportunity to do an apprenticeship should apply to BSE, as being an apprentice at BSE has provided me with significant experience that will be beneficial for the rest of my professional journey.
The most enriching learning opportunity as an apprentice at BSE so far has been the implementation of a new Collective Agreement.”
“It has been a very enriching experience due to all the changes that had to be made within a given timeframe. Finally, the values of BSE that resonate most with me as an apprentice are excellence and agility; carrying out missions as best as possible is crucial, and switching between training and work requires agility, which is indispensable. I thank all the people I have had the chance to collaborate with, both closely and from afar, who have enriched this professional experience. I also thank BSE for giving me this opportunity.”
Célestine, 20 years old, has been an Apprentice at BSE since July 11, 2022, working within the Supply Chain and later the Commerce Marketing Department. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing Techniques at IUT Le Creusot.
“My apprenticeship at BSE has been a valuable opportunity to immerse myself in the industrial sector, particularly within a male-dominated field. I have been able to fully engage with electronics, a captivating area that lies at the heart of our daily lives.”
What excites me most about this experience is the opportunity to apply my theoretical knowledge in a real-world professional setting through interactions with various members of the company. Working at BSE, a specialized firm, allows me to both acquire and deepen my understanding, complementing it with expertise specific to electronics, while contributing to significant projects.
This experience has strengthened my professional confidence, both in my interactions with colleagues and clients. BSE has proven to be a valuable partner, supporting me throughout this process and fostering my professional growth at the right time.
I had the opportunity to begin my apprenticeship in the Supply Chain department as a Sales Administrator, where I quickly took charge of managing a client portfolio after acquiring the necessary foundational skills. I then moved to the Sales department, where I was involved in commercial tasks as well as marketing and communication projects. Notably, I had the chance to contribute to significant projects, such as the ongoing website redesign. These opportunities have been extremely beneficial for my professional development, allowing me to strengthen my skills and build my self-confidence. The autonomy I was given enabled me to take on responsibilities and demonstrate initiative, which has been highly appreciated.”
Throughout my previous internships, the idea of staying long-term with a company didn’t spark much ambition in me, making it difficult to envision a long-term future. This perception was completely transformed by my experience at BSE. I discovered that corporate life is engaging, offering diverse and stimulating days that fuel my desire to fully commit. One person, in particular, played a crucial role in this shift in perspective: Sandrine Lonak, my mentor. Tirelessly resilient and confident, she serves as a true role model—not only for women in the professional world but especially in the industry, where she makes a strong impact.
I would, of course, highly recommend BSE Electronic! I was warmly welcomed, integrated, and trained with great care. BSE is an enriching company and an excellent place to learn and grow. I strongly encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity.
Féisal, 29 years old, will start his apprenticeship at BSE on September 2, 2024, within the Commerce Marketing Department. He is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing Techniques at IUT Le Creusot.
“It is a true pleasure for me to join BSE. I am grateful to Sandrine Lonak and Marc Balussaud for placing their trust in me and allowing me to collaborate with this wonderful team. I am confident that I will learn a great deal and am eager to apply my skills to ensure the utmost satisfaction of our clients.”
